In September 2016, Highlander Adventures was host to a group of Goethe University (Frankfurt am Main) professors and students for a Sarajevo historical-war tour and an amazing tour o Lukomir village. The tours were part of University Summer school “Religion and Society”. The Sarajevo tour included a historical tour of Baščaršija, including the religious sites from all four major confessions: mosques, sinagogues, catholic and orthodox churches, as well as a war tour where the Goethe University staff learnt more about the siege of Sarajevo.

They also visited important historical sites such as the City Hall (Vijećnica), Gazi Husrev-bey library, Vječna vatra etc. Last day was reserved for a visit to Lukomir highland village, a remote mountain village where the Goethe University staff learnt about the syncretic religious elements present there as well as the co-relation of Bogumil tradition and heretic belief with Islamic traditions.
