Josip Broz, commonly known as Marshall Tito was the leader of the Partisans and the President of Yugoslavia since 1945 until his death in 1980. His work with the non-Aligned Movement made him famous throughout the world.
This tour gives a brief look at the remains of Tito’s legacy, history, and stories of the non-aligned communist leader who managed to stay out of the Iron curtain. It includes a visit to Vraca Partisan Memorial near Sarajevo, the 1984 Olympic slopes on mt. Igman and a visit to Tito’s top secret underground bunker ARK D-0 in Konjic, which was made to be a seat of government in case of Atomic warfare.
